ILM Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Management (4D27v2)
The ILM Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Management (4D27v2) is aimed at candidates who are moving into a middle management position and retain responsibility for operational processes but are more removed from day to day line management. This qualification develops the knowledge and skills required to take on higher level responsibilities such as planning and implementing change.
Course Structure
Through the Learning Assistant platform provided by City & Guilds, you can earn your qualification online while learning, developing and practicing the skills required for employment and/or career progression in management.
To gain the Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Management you must complete 4 mandatory units and a range of optional units to demonstrate competency, knowledge and understanding. Your assessor will discuss the range of units to choose from with you and help you pick which units would be beneficial to you.

Unit 300: Manage Personal and Professional Development
Unit 400: Provide Leadership and Management
Unit 401: Develop and Implement an Operational Plan
Unit 402: Develop Working Relationships with Stakeholders
Course Format
The learning material is provided electronically on the Learning Assistant Platform with a guidebook and assessment plan. The assessment team will monitor your progress to offer you support and guidance throughout your course.
Assessment
A personal portfolio will be produced demonstrating understanding and application of the standards at this level, and evidence can be electronically submitted via the Learning Assistant platform. Your work will be assessed and verified by our trained Management assessors in order to complete your qualification.
Duration
Learners will receive 18 months access to their course. Average completion time for the Level 4 NVQ Diploma is 12 months.
Support
You will receive full uncapped access to the TrustTeach Management assessment team for 18 months. You can contact the assessment team via phone, email or over the Learning Assistant platform. Our assessors work Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, and any messages sent outside of these hours will be picked up during normal working times.
You will receive your e-cert within 1 week of completion and the hard copy of your certificate within 4 weeks of completion.
